Scumdee FM was a small University project. The idea was to produce a website for a weekly radio show that could be used as promotion for the DJ's and other associated things.
The site uses transparencies and so will not work in IE6 or earlier as it is deigned with the current browsers in mind.
From left to right: The first image shows the home page, the large logo on the left familiarises the user with the site and the navigation on the right of the page is clear, concise and easy to read. You can also see the heading of "The knowles show". Also visible in the image is the user poll (which could be updated each week for new events).
The second image shows the image gallery, this was the first time I had used the Adobe Flex platform so this is pretty basic, however it gets the job done and is a bit more slick than the traditional Javascript galleries.
The third image is of the web-player page. This player allows the weeks podcast to be listened to by the visitors to the site. You can also see the comments area for an almost twitter style comment arrangement.
The final image shows the poll after a vote is submitted.
